NASA replies to fans pleading for them to save Tony Stark from space

Tony Stark is lost in space, and NASA comes to the rescue

Marvel has been playing with our emotions since the cliffhanger ending of Avengers: Infinity War. Will our dearly departed superheroes come back? When will the Avengers 4 trailer drop? What will Avengers 4 be called?

Marvel has officially answered some of these questions in the trailer below, and NASA has even weighed in on the discussion.

Avengers 4 trailer

The Avengers: Endgame trailer has hit a new record for “most viewed trailer” in 24 hours. But one of the most harrowing aspects of the trailer is our beloved Ironman, Tony Stark, stranded in deep space. In his message to Pepper Potts, Tony says:

“Food and water ran out…4 days ago. Oxygen will run out tomorrow morning. When I drift off I will dream about you. It’s always you.”

In their desperation to see Tony come back to earth, the Twitterazi elite have turned to NASA for help.

NASA replies to fans pleading to save Tony Stark from space

After an overwhelming number of pleas to save Tony Stark from the far reaches of space, NASA has finally reached out to Marvel for aid:

“Hey @Marvel, we heard about Tony Stark. As we know, the first thing you should do is listen in mission control for “@Avengers, we have a problem.” But if he can’t communicate, then we recommend ground teams use all resources to scan the skies for your missing man”

Reactions to NASA’s reply:

Many fans reacted emotionally to NASA’s kind advice on how to save Tony.

It’s surprising that an organization as busy as NASA would take time out of their day to reference the latest trailer for Marvel’s Avengers. But it’s a sign of how far pop-culture has spread in recent years. What a time to be a geek!

About Avengers 4

The ending of Infinity War left a gaping hole in the pop-culture landscape. I haven’t seen such heated discussions permeating offices and dinner tables since 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens left us all wondering who Rey’s parents were.

Avengers: Endgame will be released on April 26, a week earlier than originally anticipated. We will then have answers to all of our questions. How will Tony Stark return? Was he separated from Nebula? What would Deadpool do with the gauntlet?

Ok, maybe not that third question. But in any case, we thank NASA for their attempt at saving Tony Stark.
