He’s finally home!

Sony Pictures owns the movie rights for Spiderman, which kept him apart from Marvel’s shared universe for years (unlike in the comics, where they all coexist). Ever since The Amazing Spiderman 2 failed to live up to Sony’s expectations in 2014, they ended that franchise and decided to reboot (much to the frustration of Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman supporters). The good news is that Sony struck a deal with Marvel that allowed for Spiderman to coexist in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Marvel helped Sony develop a new version of Spidey starring Tom Holland, and they placed the character back in high school. The decision was made just in time for Marvel’s Captain America: Civil WarIn the original Civil War story, Spiderman played a prominent role, though you won’t find any spoilers here! check out the trailer below:

A clearer view of The Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman. Along with Spiderman, the Black Panther is also making an onscreen debut, and unlike Spiderman, this will be his first time appearing in a live action film. He appears to be hunting down the Winter Soldier, though the reason behind Panther’s beef with him remains to be seen. And finally, we get a particularly nostalgic view:
